Currently at the hospital 😢

So I’ve developed ohss felt so Ill this morning so been told to come in been here like 2 hours and now being sick. Gave me pain killers and anti sickness tablets threw them right up. Looks like I might be freezing my eggs instead of having transfer for Monday 🥺🥺🥺 I’ve never felt so ill in my life

OHSS is awful. You have my sympathy. Paramedics took me to hospital with it so I get it. My experience was that it was intensely bad, but within just a few days I was much better. Took a little while for bloating to go.

I went through this! They booked me a scan for the day before transfer to see if it was ‘okay’ to go ahead! If you are feeling better they would consider it, however given it’s Saturday and it’s only 2 days away I’m sure your Frosties will be happy to wait ❤️ wishing you a speedy recovery it’s awful and it just feels like another bump in an already rocky road, but it’s much better to do transfer if you are well ❤️

Hope you're recovering well. I was admitted with OHSS which resulted in fluid in my lungs.

Please check in with your body and see how you feel as you need to be well for transfer.

As far as from my own experience, clinics do checks and if OHSS isn't confirmed they can decide to still go ahead with a transfer.

Pregnancy makes OHSS symptoms worse until everything settles down and so is worth considering.

My OHSS was awful and completely depleting. The reassuring advice from my clinic, was if pregnancy occurs then ,as long as the OHSS is treated and monitored, recovery is good without further complications.

I’m so sorry dear, I’ve been feeling the same so I know how you feel.... I had my egg collection on Tuesday and since then I’m really poorly, I’ve been seen by my clinic almost everyday and today it’s the first day that I’m a bit better. It was one of the worst experience of my life but hopefully it worth it. We can’t transfer any fresh embryo so we are freezing them and hopefully do a frozen transfer later on.

Try to drink lots of water also coconut water and Hope you feel better soon xx

Hope you're feeling better soon. We want you in the best place for that transfer! If it's a freeze-all, that's not a bad thing, they'll still be there when you're ready. Although, of course, I understand you'll be disappointed as we all want to get on with all of this as soon as possible. Sending lots of love and just want you to get better soon. xxxx
