Worried and far away from home 😢

Oh unsure what to do as am full of panic and am away from home on work training😣. Am 6weeks+4 days and have just wiped and saw some pink blood/discharge. Not loads but a bit. Am on pessaries and just hoping it normal and ok but so worried and feel alone 😑

No pain at mo, just very bad bloating most of the time.

Oh so want to just enjoy this and for all to be ok. Really hope this is not the start of MC number 3 🥺

What u think guys? Xx

I had some bleeding during my pregnancy which was put down to the pessaries. Best thing to do is speak to early pregnancy unit at your hospital to see if they can do a scan and put your mind at ease xx

Don’t get too worried yet. I think lots of women have this happen and it’s nothing abnormal. Get yourself down the docs tomorrow and fingers crossed it’s all okay x

Thank u. Really hope that is the case indeed. In past it has led to mc unfort. We will see hopefully all fine as u said. Thank u for ur response x

Your hormones are elevated, the outside of your cervix is all sensitive and your persseries are probably just irritating it. I had the same conversation with a nurse today! I've been spotting since about 5dp5dt and she said it's nothing to worry about xxxxxxxxx

Ahh thank u. Really hope it the same for me. Just freaks u out a when it is seen and is horrid. Will see what out of hours doc says and go from there.

Just hard when on own out here 😢

Hi,

I had a similar experience last week at 5 weeks. I wiped pink and then had some brown spotting. It stopped after a day and I had HCG checked which was reassuring and Im being scanned tomorrow when I'll be 6 weeks to see everything is ok. I am also feeling really bloated and have a bit of ovary pain today. Hopefully all hormone related.

Its such a horrible feeling when you see pink. Because of past experience we tend to panic but it sounds like a lot of people bleed/spot in early pregnancy and it's nothing to worry about. Take it easy amd have faith thay your wee embryo is just getting cosy in there. Take care xxx

Yeah remember seeing about that. Can imagine that was scary glad all ok with blood test though. Hoping it is all normal for us both🤞🤞

Hope all goes ok for u tomorrow hun. Sure and hope it will.

Now I gotta decide if stay for rest of training or go home 🤔🤔 so hard xx

I'd say that you should put yourself first. Do what's best for you. I ended up taking three days off last week as I was exhausted with worry. I got loads of rest and got my head into a good book as a distraction. I dont think I'd have been able to concentrate at work and would have been at the loo checking every half hour. I felt a bit silly and selfish as I didnt feel unwell but I felt it was better for me to know that I'd put my feet up. Do what feels right for you. xx

Dreamingofbaby profile image
Dreamingofbaby in reply toLorry1984

That does make sense indeed and yep may have to and go home early. Concentrating like u say is def v hard esp when it such a heavy subject. Will see what doc says and go from there but yep like u def not feeling it for work at the mo. Interesting to hear u have been bloated too. Again makes it feel a bit more normal in some ways. Thank u so much for ur support and input xx

Oh no. The worry after it all was going so well 😔

I have the same issue at the moment and they’re saying it’s normal but I won’t believe it until the scan.

Hope out of hrs can help xx

Dreamingofbaby profile image
Dreamingofbaby in reply toKyell2

I know and oh that not good it same for u. Let’s just hope it is normal as all say 🤞🤞 can’t help but worry a and yes am the same I will be more reassured when have the scan. When is yours? X

Kyell2 profile image
Kyell2 in reply toDreamingofbaby

My scan isn’t until next Thursday when I’m exactly 7 weeks so still 9 sleeps. I have now switched the pessaries from vaginally to see if that helps but it’s so hard to know what to do for the best. Hopefully you can get a scan soon since you are further ahead 🤞 x

Dreamingofbaby profile image

It so hard a. Not too long left. Will come around quick am sure. Best wishes 🤞🤞

I really hope everything is ok, A little but if bleeding I’ve been told is absolutely normal and fine especially if you’ve got no pain but I understand your concern. Hope everything is ok and maybe you can get a scan X x x

Dreamingofbaby profile image

Thanks Hun let’s hope all ok. 👍🤞

Hey hun, as long as you don’t fill a full pad in a hour and don’t have severe or increasing period-like cramping you should be fine. However, only a scan can tell you accurately how your embryo is doing. I had 2 episodes of bleeding at 5+5 and 6+5 and feared the worst. It turned out I have a subchorionic hematoma close to the embryo causing the bleeding. I’m on pelvic rest eversince and on weekly scan monitoring (currently 8+2).

Let us know how it goes at the EPU, good luck, my fingers are crossed for ya xxx

Dreamingofbaby profile image
Dreamingofbaby in reply togattonero

Thank u Hun. Yep def not like that but know my other mcs have starred so slowley so still scared. Some cramps but no spotting at mo so gonna try to complete my day of training and see how get on.

Sorry for what happened to u. Glad all ok though. Thank u for input xx

So incredibly common have a search on this forum so many of us have been through similar things so don’t worry. Also try not to put the pessaries quite as high up and see if that helps cos I had spotting from doing that too. x

Dreamingofbaby profile image
Dreamingofbaby in reply toFingerscrossed34

Thanks for the input. Yeah saw can be v common and hoping am part of that crew of it being normal 🤞🤞 xx

Definitely the amount, the length of time and clots are the important stuff I’ve had it and completely freaked out and all was ok. Scary though! c

Update :- good news had scan this morning and phew all ok. One lil one with a flickering heart 🥰. Am exactly 6w5days. Hopefully all will continue to grow and be ok.

Got a cyst on one ovary which hopefully will go. They have also signed me off work for a bit so maybe I can eat and sleep a bit better. So thankful though.

Thank u to u all for ur supportive words. Was really helpful on a hard day xxx
