Will slow-growing follicles catch up?

Hi all,

I have just embarked on my 2nd round of IVF. I have low amh (4) and endo stage 4. At my baseline scan I was told I had an AFC of 12, but today (day 4 of stims) I was told that my AFC is 8 and only 2 follicles look like they are growing as they should (2 were 9/10 mm and the rest below 6). Have anyone experienced a day 4 scan similar and did your follicles catch up by ER. I did estrogen and testosterone priming so not sure if this suppressed my ovaries? I'm afraid ongoing into egg collection with just 2 follicles. I'm 33 so the hoping quality might be ok (if not impacted by endo).

Yes I had this last week on my first scan. They told me only 2 follicles and I was beside myself. Anyway 2 days later they then counted 16! I had egg collection on Sunday and they managed to retrieve 9 - all of which have fertilised and now waiting for transfer on Friday.

Try not to worry so much at this stage. I know it’s easier said than done. I was amazed by my results going off my first scan.
