2nd FET Postponed due to cyst

Few days ago I had my ultrasound to start my ivf cycle but unfortunately cyst was found on left side. So I was given 21 days of medicine to burst the cyst. Not sure how it works, has anyone had the same experience?

Yes, I was in the same situation last month, they also put me on the pill for 21 days, the cyst has disappeared and I am doing the stimulation now.

Thanks babe. But after the pills, did you get your period as normal or it came early/late?

They have asked me to stop the pill after 18days ( a bit earlier that 21 days but apparently it does not matter). I had to wait for a bleed which came 3 days after stopping the pill, it was very, very light so don’t panic if that happens to you x

I see. Hope it won’t mess my plan again. It was a shocked to me see that big empty cyst and to hear my cycle cancelled. Thanks babe!

I’m sorry your FET has been delayed. I had this and I know it’s so frustrating but it had completely gone when I went back in a month (after being put on the pill). Good luck xx

From what I remember I didn’t get one and had to use norethisterone to start it. But don’t let that worry you, I have nothing resembling a cycle so have to do that all the time! Xx

I’ve had this problem too. Sadly the pill didn’t solve it, but as the cyst looked like a regular liquid filled one (not blood or a structured one), and my bloods were normal, I’ve been allowed to go ahead. Multiple times in fact. It’s just one of those things - I always have cysts it seems! Good luck

I’ve just started drugs for FET number 4. So not going well yet. That said, we have a daughter from our second fresh round, also with cysts.

Back from a morning scan - meant to be end of my down regulation prior to FET and been told got two smaller cysts on left side which are ok and one on right - non functional measuring over 5cm on right. I am beyond gutted. Was told I could go ahead but that ovarian torsion could occur as a medical emergency!
