--- EDIT (See bottom of post for response from company)---
So as some of you have followed my posts, I bought an AMH home test via Fertility Connected. I know another lady on here questioned the reliability but I have to say my results have to be 100% INCORRECT. I thought my last AMH check was 18months ago but I have just gone through my paperwork and it was actually done in Nov 2017(!!!) and was 7.6pmol/L. However the home test results show that it is now 43.4pmol/L 🤨 There is absolutely NO WAY it has increased at that rate. And I'm quite annoyed as I expected a small fluctuation but this is ridiculous and so now will have to pay again with a different company 🤦🏾♀ Not so much a question - just having a vent!

'We appreciate your concern about variation in results.
Different Labs measure AMH using different tests. Each test method has its reference ranges and results should not be compared directly to the results of other tests.
In the UK, labs use 4 different AMH Tests and when results compared, a special multiplier formula is used. This is called the Conversion Formula.
The test our partner Lab (London Medical Laboratory) uses is called Dry Blood Spot AMH, Ansh Labs. This test provides a higher result than other test methods. This may be due to higher sensitivity and/or difference in calibration.
Please see attached research studies which show that Ansh Labs results are higher than other commonly used test methods.
As we have explained in our FAQ and Blogs, it is important not to directly compare AMH results performed in different Labs.
When monitoring AMH levels over time, it is important to repeat AMH with the same Test Method.
We can reassure you, the results provided by our Partner Lab is reliable as:
1) The test we use is recognized as a highly sensitive and accurate, which has been validated by regulatory bodies and research studies.
2) All our tests are distributed and analyzed by an established clinical laboratory based in the UK.
