Buserelin side effects

Really struggling with side effects of Buserelin this time round. My first round I sailed through all of the injections, tbh the pessaries had the worst side effects. This time I'm so tired, I feel sick, headaches, got face... I feel rubbish 😩 and going to work and focusing is such a struggle!

Just needed to have a moan. Starting my Menopour tomorrow hopefully... let's hope the side effects of those don't kick in as well 😂

I also for those crappy side effects on buserelin. I felt like I had a bloody hangover without the enjoyment of a night out!🙄 However on a brighter note, menopur did make me feel better after a couple of days on it! Hope it's the same for you!!xx

🤞 It does I'm on day 2 of menopour now, so hopefully by beginning of next week I'll be a bit more lively! Xx

I completely get what you mean! I am day 6 of my Buserelin and I have all those side effects too. Work has been a challenge...although my boss commented on how chipper I seemed. So perhaps my game face is better than I thought!

Hope the next stage goes well for you. I'm due to start bemfola on the 29th assuming my baseline scan goes ok 🤞. Best of luck xx

I remember those Buserelin side effects well! As Cinderella5 mentioned I felt soooo hungover and crappy right the way through the injections. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest. Wishing you all the best x x

Hi Misky. So sorry you are feeling so rubbish. This drug, as with most of the fertility drugs works on your pituitary gland in the brain - hence headaches. Try drinking plenty of water while you are on it, and let's hope you feel much better once on stims. Good luck with it all. Diane

I am exactly the same boat this is second round for us and first time on Buserelin and the tiredness is killing me! In for final scan on Monday and then Egg Collection on Wednesday next week. Where are you on your journey? You can get through this don’t worry xxxx 🙌

Amazing and great news 👍 xx good luck for your scan and I’ll keep you updated xx second round for us but feeling a lot more positive and the clinic are doing a more natural IVF and I can see from the scans that the follicles are much more controlled and measured! Well that’s what I am telling myself xx
