Buserelin side effects

Ive been on buserelin 2 weeks and all day yesterday I had such a bad headache it was making me feel very sick and i did vomit a couple of times is this normal has anyone else had this? xx

I'm on buserelin more than 3 weeks and I had really bad headaches. Unfortunately this in one of the side effects. Drink plenty of water ( really helps). I was taking paracetamol as well. hope you feel better soon xx

Yea I had some paracetamol but it didnt seem to help much at all and I couldnt face eating anything when do u go onto menopur? Ive got my scan monday and if all well i should start tues and Egg collection 15th may xx

I had my egg collection scheduled for 10 of May but I had a scan yesterday and unfortunately, I need to wait one more week as my lining was still too thick :(. I was gutted. Hopefully, this will change next week and we will start menopur on 4th May. xx

Very normal I think I'm afraid. WeeMrsH posted about it a while ago and people provided some suggestions on relief so try and take a look at her post.

I was in bed all day myself last Friday and the clinic said it's probably due to your body adjusting to the difference in hormones. Drink lots of water (& maybe the odd isotonic drink) and hopefully it will pass in a day or two.

Take a look at my post from a couple of weeks ago! I've suffered lots with this. Try a forehead cooling strip, they really sooth. Or a warm bath if you can with your head immersed under the water (just face/mouth/nose on surface- it gives some relief. Hope it eases soon xxx

I ended up in A and E (my Doctor sent me) because my migraines affected my vision and ruptured tiny blood vessels on the surface of my eyes. They wanted to prescribe me steroids but I didn't want to take any more drugs.

Drink plenty of water. Take paracetamol or co-codamol. Limit your movement as much as possible. I tried everything to get rid of mine and in the end the only thing that helped was lying with a hot water bottle on my head! Hope you feel better soon 🤞 Xx

Hey I'm on day 7 and I feel so sick with the is injection I literally gone of my food I haven't had head aches or been sick yet just feeling it it's not nice at all...i did Google side effects of this medication and it said that if u are sick and have headaches which are the side effects to contact us nurse maybe you should try this hun to see if she can put ur mind at rest x

I've had some headaches and I thought it was stress with work! 😂😂😂 also had some amazing night sweats.... #attractive.

I've been on buserelin since 6 April. Got another 11 days to go x

Hate the night sweats. I actually blame them for my headache as my usual migraine trigger is tiredness! Switched to summer duvet, slept with window open and kicked hubbie out to spare room so I could toss and turn. Helped a bit but the only thing that really helped was getting on to the stims. Hurrah for having some oestrogen back! Dreading menopause now...

Yes I got one this time round a 7 hour horrific headache with sickness, mine was a migraine I get then now and again . I think because I've been off work I've drunk less water than I do at work so it didn't help. But I know these are a side effect of the drug too .

Also vics vapour rub on your forehead really helps ease the pain

I've got a forehead roller thing from holland and Barrett (marked for headaches) which is similar.
