Help am I still pregnant?

I had my 2 blastocyst transfer 6 days ago and I started bleeding that same day and the bleeding stoped yesterday am scared that I might have lot the pregnancy

Hey, sorry that you’re feeling worried. Bleeding can be scary and the 2 week wait is an anxious time. Not all bleeding means the transfer hasn’t worked and you won’t really know either way until you test or until your period comes. Do you believe the bleeding was your period? x

Thanks for your reply the bleeding is like period just without clots and it’s light red and heavy

Hi Benny, I think it can be quite difficult to know why you were bleeding so it might be a good idea to talk to your consultant. It’s quite unusual to have your period the same day as the transfer, but not impossible. If you have had your period I would really question the timing of your transfer and the medication that your were prescribed. The bleeding may also be as result of something else and may not impact on the embryo implanting so you may still test positive on your test date. It’s also positive that the bleeding has stopped so try to stay optimistic and not lose hope. Best of luck. x

Did you speak to your clinic? What did they say? I would think bleeding on same day would be from the procedure itself, was it heavy or spotting?

Sorry just re-read. Heavy bleed doesn’t sound good does it, what did clinic say?

I talked to the clinic and they were shocked that I was bleeding they said to keep taking my meds
