Egg collection and feeling very sick

Hello everyone as my title says, I need some answers please ? My twin sister is abroad and had egg collection today. 18eggs collected, d clinic has advised for a freeze to avoid OHSS due to the scan she had today. She’s feeling very weak, tired and sick. She said she was ok during egg collection did not even feel anything as all went well. It’s 4 hours after and she’s not feeling good at all.

What can she do to feel better please. She’s alone and I worry so much .

Oh I feel her pain. My first egg collection sounds so similar to this, I had 19 eggs collected and had a bad reaction to the anesthetic and was sick as a dog all day. Best thing to do is get lots of rest, drink loads of water (lots of small sips if she’s struggling to keep water down) and take paracetamol if in pain. If pain gets very bad or she has trouble going for a wee/gets so bloated it affects her breathing it’s worth telling nurse (before it gets v bad!). Wishing her lots of luck x

Thank you HPLondon i made a mistake by getting her a return flight back to London tomorrow because am very worried. I don’t know if she will be able to fly. I will ask her to go back to the clinic first thing in the morning.

After egg collection she also had IV paracetamol.

She may well be feeling better tomorrow, I did the next day!
