My egg collection was brought forward by two days as responded well to Gonal F. I know it's something that the clinic has done countless times and many women have been through it but I KNOW I am going to get upset because I have such a low pain threshold and husband will be 'next door' providing a sample. I get so worked up over things like this.
Had Ovitrelle (trigger injection) at 10pm last night which means no more injections (!). Made me have a sneezing fit though which was a bit weird.
The positive is that my work have supported me and are giving me less physical tasks and keeping me tucked away behind the scenes with some little projects.
Anyway... I'm sure I'll be back on here before tomorrow morning and I will let you know how it goes.

Hope everything went well for you. Remember to drink plenty of water afterwards as you have produced quite a lot of follicles and will take a while for swelling of ovaries to go down as they've been through a lot, you might find it a little uncomfortable afterwards as I did but remember to only take paracetamol for any pain and after embryo transfer don't use a hot water bottle.
I hope you got lots of nice eggs and good luck for the fertilisation stage now, keeping fingers crossed for lots of lovely embryos for you. Won't be long until your transfer now!! good luck xx
You'll be fine! This country uses a lot of anaesthetics! It hurt more to put the IV in! And only mildly achy after. I was quite happy to go for a walk up and down the beach after.
Well that was a strange experience... All done and home again. We got 9 eggs from my 32 follicles. Feel shattered and somewhat fragile but feel proud I survived. Drugs worked very quickly but felt discomfort so was given gas and air. Was so glad to have it over and done with.
I'm exhausted though.... Looking forward to my duvet day with movies and snuggles with hubby. We've also been to waitrose and bought some yummy snacks to see us through the afternoon and evening
OMG I am soooo excited for u x 32 follicles that's sounds like loads x I've got my 1st seminar in 30th June at whymondham :/ little bit nervous and excited at the same time as I have no idea what to expect x my fingers toes and everything are crossed for u Hun xxxxx
Clinic called this morning and told me all 9 eggs fertilised. Was so happy. They're going to call me tomorrow with progress but they're aiming for blastocyst for transfer Monday. I've taken today off work as well though as still feeling uncomfortable but not sore. I've slept so much tater the drugs so feel quite rested and not so fragile. I'm going to work tomorrow but then have the whole weekend off to be rested ready for Monday...
Well done, that's amazing that 9 eggs have fertilised Good luck for Monday, let us know how it goes!! Fingers crossed for you hun.... I start taking norethistorone on 19th June and then it's all go for me!! Hope to hear from you soon... if you ever need a chat let me know!! x x x
