Just don’t know how to feel??

Good morning!! I am now having sleepless nights! Last Wednesday on day 9 after embryo transfer I had some bright red blood!! I thought that’s it another failed cycle!

I cried called clinic they told me to test Friday!! I thought “yeah right!!” And cried some more!! The blood kept coming bright red and LOTS!!

Friday got a pretty clear BFP!! Clinic said to curry on with progesterone medication and test again in a week!!

I am still bleeding!! Which now I am convinced is not a period!! I am now dreading next Friday!! What if it’s not positive?! I just got a glimmer of hope!! Has anyone had anything similar before!!

Any advice?

I had a really heavy bleed recently(at 5 weeks 6 days, I was having lighter spotting before this), it was bright red, lasted about 12 hours, had clots, it was like a really heavy period (I was filling sanatary towels). There was no way I thought things could be OK but they did a scan for me the next day as I was going to be 6 weeks, the nurse at the clinic said that it seems to happen more so with ivf patients and most of the time it will be ok.

Hoping that all goes well with you! Can you convinience the clinic to do an early scan to see if they can see if there is any reason for this. Bleeding can be the result of a hematoma (which is normal and nothing to worry about) .

Thank you for your reply!! The earlier is the 28th provided my next pregnancy test is still positive!! Will see ... thank you very much for your encouraging words I will try to stay positive!! Xx
