Egg collection booked for Friday! Eeek!

We had our final scan this morning after 10 days of menopur. Started with 15 follicles at our baseline scan, we only now have 4 definite follicles at the right size, 3 more may be ready by Friday. Bit disappointed with the numbers but I keep trying to tell myself it only takes one. Just got to hope they are the best quality they can be!

So trigger shot tonight, egg collection booked for Friday morning! Opted for sedation - nervous already! 😬

It went ok thanks, still had the problem with sedation but just my weird body 🙈 I had 10 eggs collected, 5 fertilised, hoping to transfer 2 tomorrow. Waiting on that all important call in the morning, huge improvement on last time! Let me know how you get on 🥰

I got on well I think. I have 9 follicles between 18mm-10mm. Final scan is Friday with hopefully egg Collection on Monday xx

Fingers crossed that you do! Im alright thank you. No more transfers this year but having a biopsy to check for my implantation window soon so once that's out of the way we can relax for a little bit!xx

Thank you - it was ok. I’m a bit of a wimp so got a bit emotional and didn’t find it comfortable but I got 9 eggs which I was so relieved with. The discomfort was soon forgotten when we got the good news. Had the call this morning and 5 have fertilised. I’m chuffed with this number, 5 chances 🤞Just got everything crossed now that we get to transfer! How you feeling? Xx

That is great 5 fertilised is amazing. My egg collection is booked for Monday so it’s trigger tonight. They said at the final scan yesterday they expect about 10 follicles so hopefully that is good.

I’m feeling bloated and my boobs feel massive and heavy xx

Sending you lots and lots of luck. Trigger shot was fine, only injection to make me bleed a little but didn’t hurt at all. 10 is a great start 🤞my bloating has calmed down since egg collection, boobs are now really tender though xx
