Egg collection

Sooo after my follicle scan today we have finally been booked in for egg collection this Friday. We are so excited however we only have 3 follicles over 17. Hopefully to get some more before then. Have a few 12 and 13’s. Has anyone seen much growth in the last couple of days? It’s our first round so hoping for a few more to freeze if this cycle isn’t successful.

During my first round, my follicles grew slowly but in last couple of days, the smaller ones caught up. We thought we would only have four big enough follicles but ended up with 6. Good luck xxx

Hi Rebecca, that’s so exciting that you’ve got your egg collection tomorrow. How long were you on the stimms for? I’ve got my follicle scan tomorrow so feeling very nervous but hopeful. I hope all goes really well for you 🙏🏽💕!! Xx

Thanks ☺️ I was on stimms for 15 days. I kept having my doses increased due to slow follicle growth. It’s easy to be nervous but you will be fine. It’s exciting as I feel like we are in the last stretch of this 2 year journey. Good luck for tomorrow x

I understand completely, my husband and I have been trying for just over 2 years. I had an ectopic pregnancy last year and lost one of my Fallopian tubes. It’s been a tough couple of years but I feel I’m in the best place emotionally that I’ve been in, in a long time and feeling very positive and hopeful!! Best of luck to you xx

Happy for you, I did stimms for 10 days and having egg collection on Monday. Has anyone experienced brownish discharges before collection. I’m so scared I’m loosing my follicles. Unfortunately I have only one
