How do I get my lining thinner?

I had my first scan today on long protocol, so have been having Buserelin injections for nearly 3 weeks and was expecting to start stims tomorrow evening (a week later than originally planned) however at the scan I was told my lining was 6.9 and should be below 5 (I assume that means millimeters). The nurse who did the scan said she needs to speak to the doctor to find out what to do next and I would get a call later today, but my scan was at 7.45am and it's now 3.40pm and I've heard nothing. Is this a really bad sign and is there anything I can do to thin my lining before tomorrow??

For additional info, I started bleeding 6 days ago and am still bleeding very lightly. They also did a progesterone blood test this morning.

Hi there, I had something similar, my lining wouldn’t thin down either, I was on buserelin for about 4 weeks, they ended up cancelling the cycle & said next time they would miss out the down regulation. But this was for FET. Well I’m so glad we did as following this I am now 16 weeks pregnant. They do say though that your lining can dissolve without bleeding, so there’s still a chance for you, Best of luck for tomorrow xxx

Thanks, they just called and are going to scan me again next week as I'm still bleeding. Fingers crossed they won't cancel!
