Hi this is my first post. I've just had a double embryo transfer (ICSI) which sadly failed and we are devastated. This was our first round of IVF.I'm 42 and we had 4 eggs, of which 3 fertilised and unfortunately the third one didn't make it, so we don't have the option of an FET.
I'm now looking up ways to improve my egg quality and progesterone levels before going down the IVF route again.
I've heard of Impryl which improves both sperm and egg quality. Has anyone tried this?
Any advice would be much appreciated please.

Sorry about your recent bfn, lovely. We’ve just started taking impregnyl in preparation for our 4th cycle in January so can’t give any fed back. It’s the new condensyl which I’ve heard good things about (for men anyway) so hopefully will do the trick x
Thanks for your message. Are you both taking it? Also are you taking any other supplements, keep reading other threads where lots of people are taking DHEA, but as it's not UK approved, wasn't sure whether it's worth trying?
Yes, we’re both on it. Just started it. My husband took condensyl for our last cycle but I haven’t got our notes so don’t know if it improved anything with him. I am not taking dhea. I did take it for cycles 2 & 4 and it didn’t make any difference. I’m taking less is more approach this time although I think I will probably add in ubiquinol, vit e and d. Fish oils are supposed to be good - omega 3 with epa &dha, and PQQ. I’ve taken them all except PQQ. Have you read It starts with the egg? It has lots of supplement suggestions. Feel free to message me any time x
Thanks, I think I'll order it aswell. I've heard lots of people mention the book, so will be ordering it. Thanks for advice and will let you know how I get on with it x
In reality the same position, 3 failed attempts with low egg quantity and quality. Hopefully using DE in January but in the meantime both myself and husband are using impryl as heard good things. Husband had poor DNA fragmentation diagnosed after 3rd cycle as well so fingers crossed it works for both of us and maybe might catch naturally over next couple of months as you never know.
Hi thanks for your message. Our fertility clinic mentioned it, but was interested to see if anyone else was trying it.Think we will give it a go aswell - it can only help!
Good luck to you both too and would love to hear how you get on x
I would recommend the dhea for improving egg quality. I had 4 cycles in total and before the 4th started taking dhea and finally got two good quality blastocyst. Have no experience with pregnancy yet as I just had my first transfer, they say the dhea takes 3 months to work.
