Pai-1 4G/4G mutation. Anyone else have the blood clotting result?

Just got the result back from my pai-1 blood clotting test. Came back abnormal such 4G/4G mutation.

I was already on 75 mg of baby aspirin this last chemical so not sure if upping that to 150mg will help? Also adding in clexane?

Anyone wise had this mutation? What did you do? Any success? Xx

Oh gee whiz, Ive also got a similar thing. I dont think many ladies out there have probably had all the tests done that we have....mine is PAI-1 4G/5G. I usually start on aspirin and then move onto clexane a couple of days before embryo transfer. Has your clinic not advised anything? Did you hear anything back re your post from yesterday?xx

Yes I think it's a rarer blood test. I thought I didn't have blood clotting issues because all my other blood clotting tests were normal but my Dr sent me to st Mary's to have the TEG & pai-1 bloods done

My Dr saw my results and thinks he'll need to add 40mg clexane daily to my protocol but to start it a few days before transfer. I was already on 75mg of baby aspirin after transfer but he said the st Mary's Dr may want to increase this to 150mg daily.

It seems you do yours the other way round to me? Baby aspirin before transfer and clexane only after...

I'm hoping the st Mary's Dr hurries up and reviews my bloods

So will you be doing Clexane and aspirin? Yes I stop the aspirin once I start on clexane. Hopefully you will hear soon! Its good that they have found something to change up for you though!!xx

Still waiting to hear back exactly what they'll prescribe but I'll let you know when they do.

It's likely I'll do both at the same time and have to retest teg bloods if I get pregnant again.

Glad the ERA showed up needing extra 12 hours before transfer too.

So exhausted!

Not sure what to believe about the dq alpha partial match and negative LAD results. Worried that'll open a whole new can of worms. Have Dr appointment with Dr Gorgy on Thursday to discuss these results and fear I'll be terrified by what he'll say...

Yeah that would be great! Thats also good news about your ERA, I usually have an extra days progesterone which seems to have made a difference on my last two cycles for at least get a BFP. It is tiring but you're fiinding out some really great information....hang on in there. I really hope your worst fears are not realised! Got my fingers crossed for you.xx
