I'm on my fifth transfer (first time with blast) on day 5. I never did day 5 before, always did a day 2 because embryo were poor quality. This time, clinic asks to do a bloodwork 4 days before the real pregnancy test which was supposed to be on thursday.
This bloodwork is about levels of estradiol and progesterone. My numbers were very high 41,5 for progesterone and 317 for estradiol. I sent them to my doc who said the levels are good!!
He asks me to do bloodwork again in TWO DAYS with beta hcg so that means pregnancy test, sooner than planned.
I'm driving myself crazy, what does it mean ??? Is there a relation between these numbers and pregnancy? I'm so so hopeful but I don't want to get my expectations high if it's for nothing !!!
So sorry to sound a little crazy (but I definitely am right now.....)
Last question ... Can I test home tomorrow morning? It will not be too soon?
My transfer was on october 1 so it will be 8dp5dt transfer ....
OMG... please help us all !!!

Hello love, it’s all very stressful isn’t it. Try not to let your mind worry about things that you don’t know yet. God, easier said than done! It might be good news too, or that they are just keeping an eye on your levels. Either way you can ask them and put your mind at rest. Also I personally don’t think 8dp is not too early, use a FRER test though and expect a faint line of anything at that stage. Wishing you all the very best xxx
Hi Dolly! thanks for your response ! Yes I also think that they keeping an eye on my levels... But for the 5th time, I never never got an answer from my clinic team or doctor that said: the levels are good !!!! So I will enjoy that until tomorrow morning where I see the line loolll ... OR NOT ?? So sooooo stressful... I wish you a wonderful night.
Hi lovely. I had to do some bloods to test for OHSS and I knew they'd put a beta HCG in there so I tested early (on the morning of the test) because I thought theres nothing to lose. If it's too early, you'll find out from your bloods anyway the same day as bloods are more accurate... if it was a positive i wanted to find put myself without being on tenterhooks for the bloods... and the same if it was negative.. I didnt want to be told over the phone. If you do a test just be prepared that it might be wrong, but it was my way of taking some control over the situation.
As for the issue about the doc saying the results were good... take it at face value! They probably want to monitor you. And they may want to do a hcg test to see if this doubles when you do your OTD which would look even more promising. It sounds like your clinic are really looking after you and you have everything in your favour. Try and relax! Best of luck xxx
