Extremely high HCG 14dp5dt. any insight?

Hello ladies

So the nurse called with my results from my pregnancy test day (19dpo) and it came up at 5,750 🤔

I transferred 1 pgd frozen embryo. Positive test 5 days past transfer.

Whilst I feel so grateful and happy to finally have high HCG levels after my chemical pregnancies I'm also worried that the levels are way off the charts. At 4w4 days the max level should be 1000 something...

I kept on asking the nurse whether it was too high or not and she said not too worry and to wait for the 7weeks scan... Well I can't relax now... 😟

Try not to worry....so much easier said than done! My levels 11dp5dt were 968 so by day 14 they would have been pretty high too although I'm having twins. A couple of my cycle buddies had even higher results than me and they are having singleton pregnancies! Congratulations.xx

Thank you Cinderella! Your post about your twins gave me so much hope. I hope it goes well. It might just be an impression but I feel there are a lot success stories lately ...

Hey lovely,

Congrats! I know it’s hard not worry but high numbers are nothing to worry about ❤️

I’ve seen plenty of ladies on here with high numbers with successful singleton pregnancies. Everyone’s levels are different and all you need to focus on is the fact that you are pregnant, try and let yourself enjoy it, you deserve it 😘

I had over 4000 at 14 dpt and we thought it was going to be twins from a double transfer but it wasn't. I also went a bit crazy on Google and was looking for it to mean something was wrong. Nothing was wrong and we had a perfect little girl. Not much you can do except wait and see what the scan shows. This process is just one anxiety-laden wait after another!! Hope it's all fine and it's a happy healthy pregnancy xxx

Thank you. Good to hear!! I was expecting a high number like something around 500. Not almost 6000. And the nurse kept on saying you need to wait for your scanI'm anxious by nature so this is the worst! And I really want to be happy and enjoy it! X

Lapinblanc88, I was worried about this so posted something on it too!! Mine came in close to 8000 at 15dpt. I transferred just one embryo. I’ve sent lots of messages to some ladies who had high numbers and they all told me their pregnancy has been fine. I’m also waiting for my 7 week scan, wish time flies!!

I had a similar level and am looking for how it turned out for you!

Hi Jane. It turned out very well!!! I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a baby boy.

In the end another empty sac was spotted at 16 weeks so they think it could have potentially been a twin pregnancy ( vanishing twin)
