A bit of help

So I was on here for a long time but came off when we decided to stop treatment.

A very hard decision but after 4 rounds of IVF and 3 miscarriages I just felt like I couldn't carry on trying.

So I'm here now hoping you lovely ladies can point me in a direction where I might be able to find support on moving on from ivf , grieving the loss ect.

I'm really struggling at the moment, if anyone mention babies it brings me to tears.

I have started to see a councillor, but like she said her self she doesn't have all the answers or a magic wand.

She did give me one website but I can't really find much on it, she said there was one called moving on without you ( or something along those lines) but she couldn't find it.

Hi hon. If you are struggling could you talk to your GP about it and see if they could recommend or refer you? Failing that your original clinic might be able to point you in the right direction. I hope things get easier for you xx

Hi. I’m so sorry that you are struggling at the moment. Such a difficult decision to make I imagine, one that I think must take real strength and courage. I cannot pretend to understand what you are going through right now but just wanted to say it’s great that you are seeing a counsellor and reaching out for support.

There is a section about ‘moving on’ in the fertilityfriend.co.uk website. In one of the threads someone has compiled a list of helpful resources. There may be something helpful on there. I will try and post the link (but let me know if it doesn’t work and I can try again - I’m a total technophobe!)
