AMH levels and PCOS

Looking through some letters from Doctor from when some of the first tests were completed at fertility clinic.

FSH is normal at 9.2 but AMH was elevated at 23.6... I also have PCOS, age 30.

These tests were done back in November before starting Clomid and before MC.

After 6 months on clomid (with 1 MC) I am now on waiting list for IVF.

My question is, what does elevated AMH actually mean??

thanks all

Basically it relates to the amount of eggs you have, based on an average, for your age. It doesn’t determine egg quality however. I have pco but not pcos and I had a reading of 40 something at 36 and 50 something at 38 (I don’t understand how it went up either lol) but it means that with a high amh you are more likely to overstimulate (ohss) so your clinic will keep a close eye on you xx
