Late AF Has arrived...time to get in the right mindset for Round 2

Looking for some advice here...

After my first round of IVF which failed I am now about to start my FET cycle. We were only left with 1 to freeze of a B/C grade so a bit disappointing. Hoping we still have a good chance 🙏🏼

AF arrived today, 7 days later than expected. So painful ouch! I am going away on the 24th till 29th and should be starting my Buserelin injections on 28th but the nurse said it wouldn’t make a difference and to start on 29th once I am back.

She’s booked in my first scan for 17th September, but that seems like a really big gap, is that correct?

Don’t know why the FET cycle seems like it’s going to be longer. I’m on the 21 day protocol, medicated FET cycle.

Is this right? I know I’m probably over thinking It...it’s always the way when you’re so desperate isn’t it x

Hi, I’ve done a similar long medicated FET. I started buserelin on d21, a scan to confirm down reg about 2 and a half weeks later then start progynova in increasing doses for 2 weeks, before planning transfer. It does seem long but it will be worth it in the end. I’m currently 9w with our grade C when our A ended in mmc and our B was a BFN so don’t lose hope xx

Hi, I’m on the exact same protocol. I start buserilin 15/08 got a scan booked for the 29/08 and look to have my one embryo transferred back w/c 16th sept.

I was shocked how long it is mainly because I think I’ll be in the Canary Islands for one week of my 2ww - which I didn’t want but that’s just my luck 😏 xx
