I think AF has arrived

My OTD is tomorrow, I’ve resisted the urge to test anytime before that. But now I’m not sure there is even any point to test as it looks like I’ve got the start of my period.

It started on day 10 (previously I thought it was 11, but I’d been counting wrong) when it was just on wiping. Now I’m 12dp5dt and there defo more now. Still not a fresh blood flow but more pink mucusy stuff with red stringy bits. I’ve got period cramps too.

Was really hoping I’d be one of the lucky ones that it works on the first time.

Should I call the clinic or just wait until I’ve taken the test tomorrow? 🧡

Hi Zucci,

I know any bleeding is really disappointing but it’s never over until it’s over. I would wait until tomorrow, keep taking your meds and test as planned.

Are you using vaginal pessaries? Sometimes they can cause some irritation xx

I’ve been taking cyclogest vaginally, if by some miracle it’s not AF and I get BFP then I’ll switch to the rear. 🧡🧡

Oh yeah definitely do that! It’s so much easier as well as you don’t need to lay down and can just get on with your day. Wishing you all the luck in the world for tomorrow x
