Mistake with Progynova dose... help!

Had a positive test post FET last week and have just reread my paperwork which says I should have increased my Progynova from 3 x day to 4 x day ..... a bit annoyed that the clinic didn’t stress this when I notified of my positive test. However I feel fine - positive testing still, no spotting. I know clinics vary in their protocols for oestrogen and progesterone so am keen to compare with others what they have done post FET with their drugs? Please reassure me ladies!!!

I haven’t had a successful FET yet (only a failed one), but my paperwork says clearly that if pregnant you continue with the same regime until week 10 of pregnancy... Same happened on my (successful) fresh transfer. Continued progesterone and oestrogen in the same dosage until week 10 and she’s now nearly 1.5 y/o!

Fantastic! The sane part of me felt I haven’t done anything too awful .... but the frantically infertile part of me was starting to panic ! Thanks for your prompt reply!

My progynova was increased to 6mg three times a day before my transfer as my lining wasn’t thick enough but then I stayed on the same dose after the positive test. Congratulations xxx

I also didn't increase my dose after my positive test, but saying that I am on a whopping 20mg a day so they probably couldn't increase it any more 😂 I would call your clinic and start taking the increased dose right away, I'm sure there's been no harm done x

It's a big old dose! It's making me feel pretty rubbish along with 3 cyclogest a day but it's worth it if it gets us our baby at the end. The joys of fertility treatment eh? Ladies who can get pregnant naturally are so lucky! Hope you get some good advice from the clinic but I would just try not to worry too much x

I did the same, I had to increase my dose a few weeks before the transfer from 3 then 4 to then 5 a day and I didn’t figure this out for a week. I missed about 18 pills altogether but when I went for my scan prior to the transfer and they said my lining was fine. I’m now nearly 13 weeks pregnant and I’ve been told to continue for another week which I find weird. How long do you need to continue with yours?

Thanks - congratulations on your pregnancy- they have not told me how long to continue with it .... a bit worried as I’ve had some brownish loss this morning

So weird how different clinics are... a lot of ladies on here are told to finish soon after a positive. I just worry about the amount of progynova I’m taking now with the risks it carries.

I stayed on 6mg from way before transfer, right up to 11 weeks. No suggestion on increasing, in fact they said I could probably stop after positive test if I wanted to (I didn't want to!!). So far so good for me, 13+3 today. Try not to worry, I'm sure it will be fine x

I was on 3 progynova/day before and after BFP until just over 6 weeks. Don't panic xxx
