How long do you take Buserelin for IVF?

Hello everyone please help me .

I started to take Buserelin last 3 days ago how long days to injection oh I'm so tired and as well I need a baby.

I have scan on 26 June

How long do you take Buserelin for IVF?

Hi Valantina. Hope you're doing ok.

On my first cycle I had about 17 days of Buserelin before I started the stims. I felt awful on it too - constant headache, tired and emotional. My symptoms did ease once I started stims though.

Hi, I only took it once as my trigger shot but I think it’s usually 2-3 weeks for down regulation. Good luck! X

With that much medication looks like you are on long protocol. I was on it for weeks.

Your clinic should have explained this

I think it’s different for everyone based on your protocol.

I only took it once with my trigger shot. Have your clinic not given you a calendar to say how long they want you to take if for? Maybe double check with them x

With the number of vials in your photo, it looks as though you are down-regging on it and will be on it 3 or 4 weeks. It can give some strong side effects, I also was really tired and had bad headaches. I found the side effects were worst during weeks 1 and 2, then started to get easier. Make sure you stay hydrated, and get lots of rest as this can help too. I tried to remember to tell myself the pain is temporary, and for a very good cause. Best wishes for your cycle xx

Tell your doctor. And as other ladies say, stay hydrated as this helps. I was not given burselin after my first cycle as I also felt awful on it. It really affected my moods. I felt so depressed. It’s only a short time so hang in there. Good luck
