We’re transferring a 5aa 5 day frozen blastocyst tomorrow and we’re wondering how long implantation ‘should’ roughly take?
For some reason I seem to recall an embryologist saying 2 days a year or so ago but that was for our first fresh transfer so I was thinking it might differ from fresh to frozen?
Thanks ❤️ Xx

The whole process is supposed to take five days with a blastocyst, with it beginning the day after the transfer or so, and being in process until the fifth day. I don't think fresh or frozen makes a difference.
It’s the same for a frozen as it’s thawed first. I did find a web page on this But it won’t let me paste it.
It went through the stages of implantation from day 2 to day 5 and suggests that implantation is complete on day 5. It suggest HCG will be secreted from day 6 but I would always advise not to test until test day as this is not a rule and you need a certain amount to show on a test (not to mention if you trigger you could get false results)
I had a frozen 5 day old embryo transferred and I had a very faint BFP 3 days later. It was very early for me but I read posts where they got the positive 10 days later. I guess it all depends. My son who is now 13 mo old was a firecracker from the beginning lol.
All the best to you, it could be very fast or it may take a week or so. Hugs!
