Even though our last cycle failed, we were lucky enough to get one embryo to freeze. Our consultant is recommending a fet with letrzole which is a fairly new thing. Has any got any experience of this? My understanding is the letrozole makes you ovulate and they go from that?
Thanks x

I didn't have FET with Letrozole, but I did have 3 rounds of Letrozole a couple of years ago. I checked the ovulation with the sticks, and indeed the second line had never been so strong before... but we didn't conceive (my partner has a low number of normal form sperm, though).
With FET I think the most important part is the thickness and aspect of your uterus lining, and I have no idea of the effect that Letrozole has on that.
Hi, thanks for your response, good to known it helped ovulation. I think they are trying to get me to ovulate to do the fet as naturally as possible, will defo be asking alot more questions before we go ahead x
Hi Mrsti. Letrozole is often used to trick the pituitary gland into telling your ovary to release an egg, then they will time FET around the same time. Good luck! Diane
