Survived my first FET. Unfortunately after 7eggs fertilising only 1 made it through to day 5 (apparently not the best on paper, but the Embryologist said she liked it so 🤞); none to freeze, but 1 little embie onboard "the chosen one" as we call it.
Very worried but staying positive, now we've just got the 2WW! Luckily end of term is looming and a rest is insight.
Any similar positive stories to help spur us along would be gratefully received 😁

Hey there, well done! It only takes one... Of it’s going to stick, it will... Keep busy and fingers crossed!
I had my first transfer in Oct, currently 9 weeks 5 days 🤞🏻 I didn’t realise the grading of the embryo until they gave me the paperwork to pass to the NHS, it was a 5BB, so not the best but looks to have worked. Fingers crossed it stays and is ok xx
Hi Misky. Did you have an FET? I thought it was a fresh cycle? I had nothing left to freeze either but I wasn't expecting any as I only had 4 eggs to begin with. Today, on day of transfer, only 1 embryo was good enough to transfer and the other looked like it wasn't going to make it. We did however decide to get both transferred just incase it does in implant because it'll be in a more natural environment! Xx
I'm rooting for the chosen one Good luck on your TWW, finges crossed! xx
Hi, great to know you had your FET done. Rest lots!!! I am in the same boat and had my only frozen embryo transfer on Friday. My consultant said embryo grading is subjective and we should not rely on it! Sending you lots of luck!!! X
Ours wasn’t a great quality (4BB) embryo but I’m currently 15+2 weeks. I tried to focus on thinking the little embie would be much happier in my womb than in a petri dish (bit like a seed being happier in soil!) and so was now having a chance to flourish. That helped stop me worrying about quality as it is all subjective and doesn’t exactly correlate with chances of success. All the best!
