How long after egg retrieval is the transfer?

Hello everyone,

Just wondering. Just been informed Friday is the day of retrieval. Will be doing the fresh transfer? Will it be day five or a few days after?

Hi Hun all the best for ur EC . You can only tell when they collect ur egg and then they will monitor them that’s when they will be able to tell u if everything goes well which I m hoping then they will do a 5 days blastocyst transfer .. x

That’s what I assumed but I’ve seen posts mentioning 3 days transfer. I have another scan scheduled tmw, I will def get a timeline then. Thanks lovely xx

2nd day 3 day transfer normally happens when embryo don’t develop perfectly that’s when they want the embryo back to u where it belongs .. I had a 2 day transfer bez I had only 1 embryo and my embryo wasn’t a good quality.. I really hope everything goes well for u .. all the best🥰🥰
