Hiya girls hope your all well. I have had call from embroyolgist stating overnight there are 3 decent embies. She gave me 2 scenarios go to day 5 and hope for the best as they could all die. Or get the 2 good ones put on in the morning if fingers crossed they make it too tomorrow please god. I have low amh, my husbands sperm count has gone up significantly thanks so think to Korean ginseng. I am 40 yes ok. What would do you guys think thanks in advance your input is greatly appreciated xx🤔

I would go ahead and put the 2 embryos back if this is what the clinic are suggesting. I have been in the position where we had nothing to transfer on a cycle but our embryos on day 3 were looking really poor. I then had the scenario where 2 were looking good (other not so) and the clinic didnt give me the opportunity to put those 2 back, they wanted to wait until day 5 (didnt have time to set up a day 3 transfer apparently and I was mad having lost our embryos prior) and we lost one of the embryos....it may never have developed in me but I always think better back in you than in the lab!xx

Hiya yes totally agree , embies should be in their natural environment, and I've read that decent viable ones on day 3 should be put back, that's if they survive tonight, they've booked me in provisionally for 0915. They are going to call me at 0815. It's very tough as at this stage you just hope that the embroyos make it . .x thanks for the reply

Thanks. Think that was terrible bad luck you had with your embies if you only have few they should put them back asap, especially when they said one was not doing so well. I assume your probably a lot younger than me as I know they only like putting in 2 embies if your over 38 yes old . X good luck you too. That was really helpful

I was actually 38 so I was a tad annoyed at them! I had a bit of a go at the time as I think they should have taken my previous disaster cycle into consideration but they said they would for patients in future! Hey ho, Im now 41 and doing DE so our embryos are much better quality now!xx

Hi yes the Korean ginseng does wonders . 8 years ago we found out husband had low sperm count of 4 million. I got the Korean ginseng from a authentic Korean run place they said it will improve count morphology etc. Husband was on it 2 months did another test it was over 20 million. December 2018 did sperm test it was 500 thousand, went back on it 6 weeks ago it is now 11 million. You meant to take it for 3 months to see an improvement. So wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone with low sperm count 👌

Do it's not something I discuss with anyone because my husband doesn't want me to tell friends family etc about this, he's embarrassed. However I would certainly recommend it to anyone who has low count. Go for it make sure it's not mixed with other minerals like an all in one bit tab. Get the real thing and encourage your partner to take a handful everyday . X

Hey Nuttybutt, our nurse said to us if they don't make it to day 5 they were never going to make it. We had quite a few lost. After she said that I preferred to know which had the best chance of making it to day 5 and popping that in rather than popping back in on day 3 and not knowing if they were likely to even make it to day 5 inside. I think that it's totally down to personal opinion. The chance of twins would be amazing! Good luck xx

No problem. I totally get your worries. We went down to 3 too nearly 2 weeks ago. Went from collecting 26, 16 mature, 9 fertilised and 3 made it. We we so lucky that they ended up being 3 A's and one popped back in. I really hope that it all works out for you xx

Hi, we had 10 eggs collected and 9 fertilised. My clinic were planning for day 5 transfer but on day 3 only 2 showed good progress and they were worried none would make it to day 5. The embryologist said at that point the best place for the 2 embryos was to be back inside me. They didnt discuss stats with me but my consultant had apparently planned for 2 embryos to be transferred if I had a day 3 transfer and if i had a day 5 transfer they would only transfer 1 given my age. I was guided by them as the risk was that none of mine would make it to day 5. Since then, I've read several posts on here of successful day 3 transfers too and before developments in technology only day 3 transfers were possible. Unfortunately for me it was a bfn. I dont regret doing day 3 transfer as we would never have known if they would have survived to day 5 and I could have ended up with nothing to transfer, at least with a day 3 there was still some chance. Fortunately, I also ended up with a couple of frosties too! It's really difficult but I wish you all the best with your embryos and hope 1 sticks whichever day they do your transfer x
