Spotting

Hi all, I had my transfer on Saturday and this morning when I’ve been to the toilet I’ve noticed on some spotting upon wiping. As this is my first IVF round and don’t know how this works much, can someone tell me if this is normal? I’m very worried 😟

I know it’s horrible seeing any type of blood but try not to assume the worst. Given it was only a couple days ago you had the transfer I’d say the most likely cause is from the egg collection/transfer procedure and nothing to worry about at this stage. A lot of clinics prepare you for this in the literature as it’s so common with IVF. Can you call your clinic for reassurance? Xx

Hi Ems. Could all be just down to being pulled about during procedures, plus progesterone pessaries irritating a bit. Nothing to panic about just yet, so have a rest and fingers crossed all will turn out fine for yo. Diane
