My OTD was Saturday of which we had a BFP. Today I’ve had some light spotting... I’ve read this is normal when around 4 weeks pregnant due to implant but I can’t help worrying. Has anyone had this and then all been ok?
Currently sitting in work and just want to go home 😔 xx

Hi Lovely. Congratulations on your bfp! I haven't been in that situation myself but have seen loads of posts from people who have had spotting in the early weeks and gone on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. Wishing you lots of luck for the same x
My sister had spotting at around 10 weeks and was in such a panic but they got her in for a scan and was absolutely fine. Quite a common thing. Wishing you all the best x

This may not mean anything at all sweet and my advice is go home and take it easy.
I had no spotting at all and it was game over at 5 weeks. Spotting, no spotting or even a light period are normal at this stage, I know of a few cases of bleeding properly and all fine.
Symptoms, no symptoms - we all go through the mill.
I understand fully what a complex and excruciating time it is. After the tww you then have another to endure and it’s the not knowing that is a killer, I remember sitting there thinking I wished there was a test I could take to know it’s all ok. Xx

Of course any sign of spotting or worse is terrifying in pregnancy but it is really not unusual and often everything is fine but if you want to be at home rather than trying to keep a stiff upper lip at work I would do so this is all hard enough as it is do all you can to ease the stress sending love and best wishes x
I have spotting today. I have spoken with my gp and the epu. The EPU told me that it is probably implantation and you can get that any time up to 6.5weeks. Not to worry and to get back in touch if not gone in 2-3 days. Or if it gets heavier - I.e fresh blood filling a pad in half an hour.
I know exactly how you feel although I have put myself on bed rest today (lying on left) and just watching Christmas films x
Ummm, well you know we do all these daft things that we read about somewhere but can't remember where? Someone told me once about it is supposed to help. I thought it was after pessaries. But recently I read (can't remember where) that if you lie on your left the blood goes to your uterus better so in actual fact it is a real thing. Luckily I already tend to sleep on my left. Xx
Definitely fingers crossed for us all. Seem to be a lot of posts on spotting today. I have also read that actually it is a lot more common than we think - another thing not really talked about.
Apparently ivf-ers are more likely to, and even taking into consideration all pregnancies - 1 in 4 will have a bleed at some point.
Daft things? Yes I’m full of them 🤣 actually I had seen something. I downloaded a pregnancy app and it lists tasks for you to do. One of them was ‘Arrange a pregnancy pillow that will help me sleep on my left side’ so must be true! I sleep on my left too.
Straight after my transfer they got me to lie on my right side though 🤔
Yes there are a few posts today. In a way it’s quite reassuring. Hoping our little embys are just getting themselves comfy.
