Back again after some much needed headspace

Morning everyone, I took some time out from the forum for a few weeks so apologies for missed updates, after my 3rd failed transfer (2nd round) and births of my 2 nephews I just needed to take some time out as I wasn't coping very well. I have been doing Yoga, researched a lot around body, mind, clean eating and getting rid of all toxins so ready tomorrow give anything a go!! After the last failed DE FET my consultant recommended I do a Chicago blood test so just waiting for results of that. I have been having intermittent bleeding so my GP referred me for an Ultrasound and appointment with gynaecologist. Not quite sure what's going on with my body but my period over a week late and I've been suffering with hot flashes for last couple of weeks and breaking out in sweats, has anybody else experienced this, not sure whether just side effects to all the hormones ???

Hello and welcome back. I had hot flashes and a really long delayed cycle after one of my rounds. I think it was my reaction to norithisterone and not completing the cycle (it was abandoned due to lack of follicle response). My first period was about a week after abandoned round, then 72 days, then 50odd. It was awful as I kept thinking that was it. Your body will come back to normal and hopefully you will get some answers in the meantime from your tests. Wishing you all the best xxx

Thanks Camillage,I have been panicking a bit thinking I'm going through the change but hearing other people have been through the same thing makes me feel more reassured!!

How's your bump coming along? Xxx

in reply to

Yes, its really hard not to automatically think "the change" is the reason. But hopefully you will be back to normal in no time at all xx

P.s. bump measuring all perfect and I am fine too. 29 weeks now! X

That's great news, not too long to go now xx

Hello. I'm glad that you are getting better and ready to continue your journey. I know all these feelings as after my first failure I failed into a great depression and couldn't have been going forward for 5 long years. But finally, I plucked up all my courage and went further.

I am exhausted with all these meds and sometimes they influence on my health and mood in a bad way but I'm trying to stay positive as the result depends on our thoughts and mental state very much.

Yesterday I had my FET and happy with that. Everything went very good, doctors are very professional and the medical staff is attentive and kind. I appreciate their work.

The weather is gorgeous, the trees are in blossom and smell like honey! I have a good appetite and clean thoughts.

I wish you the same, dear. I wish you be calm and determined, stay positive and do not worry much.

I wish you all the best in your journey!

Hello dear . Nice to hear from u

I had same problem after 2 of my cycles . Period was delayed. Stomach cramps. And body still is messed up . So I feel u gurl . You r in d right track . I would have done a scan to give me peace of mind . I’m still on my anti anxiety medication. I’m pretty scared to go off them . But have to quit them to start cycle . Xx

The meds really do mess with your body don't they. Hopefully you will be given support as you go off your meds xx
