Disappointed

So after waiting years and being passed from pillar to post we had our very first appointment at the ivf clinic today and were hoping to speak to consultant about the surgery I would need before hand. Instead we ended up with a very apologetic nurse practitioner telling us we’d been booked into the wrong clinic 🙄😔 as you can imagine we’re a tad emotional and a bit annoyed that we’ve been let down again! Well I suppose nobody said this path to get to parenthood would be easy lol sorry for the rant but needed to vent

That’s awful you poor thing, I would find that extremely frustrating. Unfortunately you will realise that there are many frustrating delays along the way. It’s definitely not an easy journey that’s for sure. Hope you get your new appointment soon and you don’t have to wait to long x

Thankfully they’ve booked us in for Monday so not too long to wait at all but yeah just a little frustrating but trying to stay positive x

Hi Nessie. So, so sorry to hear this. Obviously these things shouldn't happen, especially when you have probably been gearing yourself up for your appointment. All I can say, is that I really hope they get you sorted out soon, and you can get cracking with whatever treatment you need - and of course for success. Diane

Sorry to hear that! I know how frustrating this may be. My GP has done wrong blood tests 3 times (!!!) for my IVF referral. I was fuming but just started laughing after the 3rd time at their incompitence.
