Oh dear! Has the clinic not got an out of hours number? They might advise differently. I had an on call nurse to ring x

When I got home we decided to still inject in the morning and phone the hospital- what the worst that will happen..... the rash will stay the same!!!! It's mental how after 10 days your body can just decide to react! I really don't want to stop now- feels like we really are on our way on this crazy journey xx

I had this on my first round. Thought I was the only one as clinic didn't seem to worry!! Mine calmed down when stimming started and have not had it in subsequent cycles. God it was annoying though!! X

I had chronic and pressurised urticaria (hives) for 7 years. Main thing is don't scratch. Try putting a wet wrung out cold flannel/towel on them to reduce itching. I found if you put it in the fridge for a bit it gave a lot of relief.

Just smothered

Myself in germolene! Relief was short lived 😥

Cold shower or the cold towel. I found ice packs were too harsh. You have to keep swapping the towels though as they heat up quickly.

Thank you for your advice x

Hope it helps. I wanted to live in the fridge during the summer!

Can you take a antihistamine? The prescription strength one is one I have for hayfever one a day all of summer basically - and the clinic said it was ok to use. I have lots of allergies and sometimes end up with a big shot of something at hospital that calms most things down x

My consultant thinks that I may have a virus which is why I have come out in a rash! Feel terrible- am so tired, no appetite, sick, zero energy or motivation, old anxiety's seem to be appearing too!!! I knew IVF was going to be hard but I didn't realise it was going to be this tough! Sorry everyone just need to offload 😥xx

Thank you.... I really didn't expect to feel this bad! Is it normal for your appetite to go? Seem sensitive to smells to- make me heave x

I didn't get that but everyone is different.. I had the most debilitating headaches where I couldn't lift my head off the sofa. Buserelin isn't very nice or easy xx

It's really nasty isn't it! My consultant seems to think I have a virus too which is why I came out in a rash 😥feeling so fed up x

It's so nasty I've decided to opt for a natural fet this time instead of a medicated one. Just couldn't bear the thought of feeling so ill on it again! Like I said, I hope you feel better soon xx

Thank you xx what happens when on the natural process? X

No down regulating = no Buserelin! I will have scans every two days from CD10 to monitor follie growth and lining until I have a dominant follicle then trigger shot and then transfer, so it all coincides with your natural cycle. However I am opting to have hrt patches to help my lining as I have issues with that xx

sounds like a much kinder way of doing things x

I've been assured the success rate is the same so it's a no brainer for me lol X
