Can you ovulate during stims?

Hi ladies,

I’m having a little panic. I’m currently on my 4th day of gonal f/ buserelin injections. I took my last dose an hour late last night. I now have very watery discharge, very similar to when I ovulate and pains in my ovaries.

I’m probably freaking out over nothing! Is this normal? It’s way too soon for my follicles to be big enough to ovulate?

I started having ovulation cm very early too. Day 4 or 5, not 100% sure.

Don’t forget that instead of one you now have several filicules producing oestrogen, That is contributing to your Cm.

It doesn’t mean at all that you are about to ovulate, just that your oestrogen levels are rising, and that’s good.

Hi MissN, it’s been a long time since I used gonal f but i do remember panicking over something similar. I was sure I’d ovulated and all my follicles would have gone by the scan, but all was well. I think the feeling is them growing. Which is great! All is well xx

I asked this at my scan a few weeks ago and they said it’s very normal it’s due to the rise in hormones. I hadn’t had it in my other cycles so it worried me xx

I asked the same my nurses as soon I saw them. I usually get cm 4 days before Ovulation so I was quiet worried when it started! Good luck with your cycle.

Totally normal! You can ovulate whilst on stims but highly unlikely this early. The danger of that is more arond days 10+ good luck. I'm pulling the trigger tonight! Egg collection 9.30am tuesday.
