EC and what to wear?

I'm really really bloated at the moment and don't really fit into my jeans. I'm a bit worried it'll be worse on EC day. What do people suggest is comfortable to wear? Thanks

I think I wore leggings. Wear whatever is comfortable for you. Leggings or even joggers.

Good luck x

Thanks Kirsty! I'll try leggings xx

I wore joggers. You wont to be comfortable. So loose fitting comfy clothes. Good luck!x

I was the same, so bloated and abdomen really tender, couldn't stand anything pressing on it. Had to wear leggings with the top folded down!!

Thanks! That sounds like a good idea with the top folded down, I'll try that! X

Hi hun when is your EC ? I’m bloated too ...so much that I feel sick sometimes..all day like that ...so for that reason I’m just gonna wear leggings and jumper. Leggings r comfy plus after EC is good to wear something comfy. Xx

Hi Olivia. They called me today to let me know my EC is on Thurs! Last night for Gonal f, yipee! Trigger tomorrow and then no more injections for now. I think I'll try leggings, thanks! Make sure you get plenty of rest/sleep before your EC tomorrow. Hope it goes well 🤗

Thank u hun. That great no more gonal f for u 👍 Just trying to get few things ready so I got more time in a morning...like putting some extra staff for my baby girl for all day in nursery. My clinic is around 85 mile away so we need to leave just before 7am to be there at 8.30 am ...30 min before . Fingers crossed for me and u hun 🙏

My first EC I made the mistake of wearing jeans and was so uncomfortable putting them on after the procedure so learning from the I wore leggings and a hoodie on my 2nd one. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in and preferably something that isn’t too much pressure on your tummy xx

I had egg collection on Friday, I was the same just wanted to feel comfy. Leggings were wonderful. Don’t forgot socks too. I even took my slippers as there is some waiting around! Good Luck x

definitely something that is not restrictive. I wore jeans and as soon as I got in the car I had them undone for the car journey home, then as soon as I got home I put a onesie on as it meant nothing was on my belly.

good luck for EC xx

I wear leggings over a loose dress or a loose maxi dress when it’s too warm for leggings x

Thanks Scarlett. I was thinking maxi dress but it's a bit cold for that and not really that time of year yet. I think I'll wear leggings and a dress x

I wore leggings, couldn’t get into jeans either for weeks before hand. If I could have worn pyjamas would have been great 😂. Good luck x

Lol! I've been wearing my pyjamas since the injections because I've not been able to fit into my jeans. I've not had to go to work so it's been good x
