Well my final scan went well, the follicles have grown loads! Went from the largest measuring 16 up to 31! They think I'll have 6 up to size in my right ovary, she couldn't see the left one and kindly didn't poke around too much as she said they definitely have enough and what ever is in the left is a bonus! And my lining is really thick now, she said the sea air at Weymouth has obviously worked wonders!
Thank goodness no more needle's for the time being!
So tomorrow is the day for EC! I'm really aprehensive but will be humming whale sounds in my head all the way to the clinic 🐳 to calm my nerves! 😅

Good Luck and try not to worry about egg collection it is not as bad as you think. I have been through it twice and both times no probs or pain I cant even remember it as I was nicely sedated both times xxx

Thank you ladies! It unfortunately was really painful, she gave me a big dose of sedative but could still feel everything. But on the plus side they managed to get 13 eggs!!! Wowee! I couldn't believe it when she said. So let's hope some fertilise & I'll find out tomorrow. Xx
WOW Becky that's amazing!! We got 8 so you've done really well there! You must be so pleased!! Isn't it terrible but I'm almost relieved to read that you found it really painful too, I thought I was being a right wimp when everyone else was saying they didn't feel a thing! How do people sleep through it?! haha All the best eggs must be painful to retrieve hahahaha Well done again, take care of yourself now and let us know how they get on overnight!!! x x x
And I've got a really high pain threshold normally! The nurse said she gave me a load extra sedative too 😢 I'm dosing myself up with para & ibo & have my trusty hotty bottle on my tum tum. It feels like I've strained all my tummy muscles. Did you bleed much after?
I was really surprised with 13 the embriologist said between 8-10 was ideal so I'm feeling positive for fertilisation now & hopefully some left over for freezing.
Hubby is looking after me really well, I'm snuggled under a blanket with a cuppa & magazine. That's my spot sorted for the evening 😅 I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow x💋x💋x
I like to think I have a high pain threshold too but I found EC to be really intense 🙈 They gave me extra pain relief and sedation too but it made no difference! I bled a lot after, they wouldn't let me go home for quite a while but once I was home I felt much better ☺️ Hot water bottles are magic aren't they?!

Morning! Ooh my tummy is sooo sore still and feel worse today than yesterday! But just spoke to embriologist. Out of the 13, 10x were suitable, and 6x then fertilised over night. She'll ring tomorrow & let us know how they are doing. And if any progress to Transfer stage. Oh my goodness! Xx
Keep resting lovely, don't do anything today just keep looking after that tum! 6 is a fantastic number, fingers crossed they do well for transfer stage!! Take Care x x x
I'm good thank you waiting for the 4th July like a kid waiting for Christmas!!! We're away next weekend so that will take my mind off it (I hope!) but I can't wait to get to scan day and hear that heartbeat... or two! YIKES! haha x x x
Aghhh All this waiting! But You must be on cloud nine tho. A weekend away works wonders, lots to keep your mind busy. Two!!! 😆😨 wowee! the more the merrier ey! That's what I said to hubby 😅 xx
Oh we definitely are! The anxiety seems to have subsided thankfully and I feel much more relaxed about things! As for the more the merrier... well yes that's true but I'm not sure how I would react if they said there were three in there! hahaha x x x
