It our morning of egg collection. We are soooo nervous. Poor hubby is having a PESA. I've been really sore for days now & I'm hoping that means I've got a load of juicy follicles ready to go. They really stuggle to find my left ovary as it's high up & hidden... which makes scans & collection really painful. Last time I felt every thing!!!π’ So I've asked for maximum pain relief.
Let's hope it being Halloween is a good sign and they're not little terrors π.
Right well. Better get moving. Xxx

Wishing you lots of luck for today, I have the same problem with my left ovary so they gave me gas and air on top of other pain relief which really helped xx
Good luck. Tell your hubby not to worry too much. My DH had a PESA and it was over really quickly. He was a bit tender after but didn't last long and was back to normal the next day. x
Amazing news!! How was the procedure? I am starting to think about it now as itβs coming up soon! Very worried that itβs gonna really hurt! Fingers crossed for you both xxx
Eeep exciting fingers crossed you have some nice lil fertilised embies π±
I had my EC on monday and ive been lucky not to be too sore but im sooo bloated today which has been uncomfy. Even with all the water im drinking its crazy. They did our ec under anesthetic couldnt imagine doing it any other way.
All the best for your transfer. Mines on friday xxx
So 8x fertilized & 4Γ are top quality & 4Γ good quality π. It's so much better than last time. Transfer will be Sunday. So let's hope my pumpkins (thought the name was fitting seeing as they were picked on Tuesday π.) keep going strong ππππππππ xxx
Yay congrats. Mine aren't doing so well π’ 3 slow an 2 not 100% where they should be. Dumb question but is there anything you can even do to better the quality once theyve fertilised? Or is itis what it is?
Morning! Ah I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do but wait. My last cycle we had a big depletion from 13 collected to only 1x good quality. But we still ended up with 1x! However they can turn it around themselves. So don't give up hope! Xx
Thank you. We had the transfer earlier today and we spoke to the embryologist begore and she came and re explained they were slow even the 2 good ones between yesterday and today. Then when it was our turn for transfer she came in all amazed that between their check tgis Morning and transfer time one did whst it shoukd and caught up to whereit should be. She was amazed and said what ever positive thoughts i sent must have worked. I was like i didnt i was so sad and worried. But maybe this lil fighter knew it was time to go home and got its a into g. So feeling a bit better. Fingers crossed the other slowies catch up for sunday freeze. Another update tomorrow.
I'm still Sore, but feels more like period pains today. They were all doing well yesterday, we're on target for a day 5 transfer on Sunday. They said they don't like to disturb them if they are doing well. So we dont know where they will have got too before we turn up on Sunday. Xx
Unfortunately no they were all too slow none of them made it to blastocyst stage so fingers crossed the one they put back in ia thriving in its natural environment. If there's a next time I'll push for two to be transferred.
Yeah we spent quite a while talking it over with the embriologist & decided that we may as well give 2x a go. We only had 1x last time & None frozen. I'll find out this afternoon if we have any frozen. If we do it may only be 1x. it's very nerve racking. Xx
I hope everything went fine dear. Have you done any update post on this? I would really love to know what happened. I sincerely wish that you had fun during that day. I also wish that you are having fun right now. I am sorry for my late reply! God bless you and your loved ones.
