Hey guys just found out today that yet again we have failed our second frozen ivf transfer with donor eggs. I’m so angry and devastated. Our donor is 21 years old and everyone raves how great her eggs are but why won’t they implant? I swear this time I felt like I was pregnant until about day 4 when my leg pains and af symptoms started and then I was just sad because I knew it hadn’t worked. I’m meeting with FS (fertility soecialist) on Monday because I need answers.

I have a successful fresh transfer with the same batch of eggs two years ago that resulted in my son. I had a c section at 36 weeks and an staring to think maybe my uterus has been damaged. He is a miracle but I have held one baby and we want another one. Does anyone have any recommendations? Should I do a third attempt in a transfer? Have a laparoscopy ? Or is there anything else I can suggest to him. I did everything I’ve been going to Accupuncture for months, in healthy active and only 26 years old. I have six eggs left but don’t want to waste them if I am the problem.

Thanks for listening

Sending baby dust to all of you having transfers in the upcoming weeks.

Sorry to hear of your BFN, it never gets any easier, Ive had 5! Its hard to know what the problem is when our transfers dont work out. We have had 2 x OE (3 blastocysts) transfers - BFN and 3 DE (5 blastocysts) transfers with only our recent one ending in a BFP which has sadly resulted in a miscarriage. Our donor has provided another lady with a successful pregnancy so we were stumped as to why we werent having success, just bad luck who knows. On our recent cycle I used a gentle steriod (prednisolone) just in case my body was attacking the embryos, and we'd tried everything else. Not sure if it helped but would use again as its the first time we've had a BFP. Good luck for your appointment.xx

Thank you ! That makes sense. I seriously felt like after the transfer I was cramping so bad that there was no way an embryo could have lasted so my body may just be attacking them. Xx

Hi Sumer, I'm sorry about your DE failure. I've just had a fresh transfer fail from our second DE cycle, the first cyle both a fresh and frozen transfer failed. I imagine it must be so disheartening for you when you have had success from the same cycle, also it doesnt sound like there would be a problem with the eggs. I'm also at a bit of a loss, as i've already ruled out a load of things through testing after a series of natural pregnancies resulted in miscarriage and have also been dosed with clexane and steroids for evey cycle. I have my follow-up tomorrow and am going to ask about recurrent implantation failure and/or whether to have a hysteroscopy. If I find out any useful information I will let you know. Good luck with your next cycle x
