Hi Mae, I'm still very new to it all myself! I've started my FET process..... I don't know other people's process but ours is... starting day 1 of period from day 1 of period to ET is 21 days roughly for me. Hope this helps xx
Mine process seems different to you, I had AF on 22nd and started my suppressed meds, which stop tomorrow and i started taking oestrogen daily. I have scan on the 4th Feb for a lining check up, then all been good I start progesterone. I wouldn't worry too much about everyone's protocol been different, different clinics manage it all differently. Good luck with everything xx
Hey I started my FET in December . So on day 21 of the cycle you start Buserelin 50 UI and once your AF starts you reduce it to 20UI and oestrogen tablets 6 mg a day and then you are booked for the scan . It depends on the clinic and I was booked after 2.5 weeks of my AF and then they scan you again to check your lining and let you know to stop injections and start progesterone pessaries and they will then give you time to come for the transfer.
But again every woman is different and so are clinics. The above is completely based on my experience from NHS. Hope it helps . Good luck xx
Hey Mirah , thank you very much for the info. It’s such a mind field isn’t it! How far in are you? Have you had your transfer ? Sending you lots of luck hun 🤗
Thank you so much Kirsty , its so hard to stay positive and relaxed whilst also preparing yourself for the worse isn’t it. Fingers crossed though 🤞🏻🙏 x
I’m starting a cycle next week, too, following a failed FET in November, then surgery for a hydrosalpynx and endometriosis earlier this month. I’m in the US, so the process might be a little different, but I’ve been on the pill since November. On Wednesday I have a baseline ultrasound and bloodwork and then start estradiol three times a day for 12 days. Then there is a lining check appointment and if we move forward I add a progesterone in oil injection once a day for six days leading up to the transfer. Meds continue for two weeks until the official test date.
Hey hun, your cycle is different from mine are you on the natural cycle? My cycles are not regular (were before IVF) so I had to do a full medicated cycle so it’s kind of like the IVF cycle without the stims! I am sorry to hear about your failed FET but I really hope that February is your month hun 🙏.... do you know why your FET failed ? Are you on or doing anything extra this time around ? I will be doing acupuncture this time x x
I had a hydrosalpynx and previously undiagnosed endometriosis, so I’m pretty sure that’s why the FET failed. Clinics here don’t offer natural cycle FET - more monitoring appointments for them, lower success rates, lower profits. So I’m doing a medicated cycle. Starting estradiol today. Not doing anything extra (other than the surgery to remove my damaged tube and endometriosis on the uterus) but February should be a lot less stressful than November and the whole holiday season anyway.
I’m starting Norethisterone on Friday and 0.5ml Buserelin the week after on day 21. I finish Norethisterone on day 25 and wait for period. Then have a scan, start estrogen, have another scan after 12 days of taking estrogen. Then I stop Buserelin and start luteal support meds’ and then ET. I don’t know how the exact details though and this is my first FET. Best wishes xx
Hi. Good luck with your cycle. I did a frozen FET cycle too- 5 day blaystost. I started my cycle with oestrogen tablets 3 times a day from day one until. On day 10/12 I went in for baseline scan and then fir the next 5 days I was on progesterone pessaries plus my oestrogen tablets. The suppositories 2 times a day were used vaginally until the day of transfer which I used rectally. After transfer I used the oestrogen tablets 3 times a day and progesterone in oil shots once a day. Maybe clinics are different as I only used buscerlian during stims. Look after yourself and all the best
Hi, I start my FET Monday too....😁 I have my prostap injection then on 14/2 a scan, if my lining is thin I can then start to build it up on the tablets 3times a day. 🤞 where in the country are you? It seems your clinic does it a little differently. I could advise on the timeline but obvs mine is different to yours. Good luck tho 🤞🤞🤞
I am in the uk , midlands area. Mines a FET cycle with HRT. Wishing you lots of luck , hope you get your happy ending , keep me updated on your progress 🤗
