Has anyone else bled taking Progrynova before FET?

Hi ladies, I'm due to have a FET on 20th Oct and I started spotting on Monday whilst been on 8mg of Prognova. I told my clinic this when they did my scan yesterday and they said they couldn't see any blood in my uterus and my lining looked good at 15mm. They said people don't normally bleed when they are taking Progynova and told me to let them know if it got heavier. Ive had lots of cramps today and I could feel I was bleeding more. I'm getting really stressed already as Ive had so many problems bleeding when I shouldn't whether it's between periods, during pregnancy, before treatment and they can never definitively tell me why, but it's never a good sign 😢.

I just wondered if anyone had experienced the same before a FET and still gone on to get a BFP? I'm due to start Lubion injections tomorrow so I'm praying that stops the bleeding and eases my anxiety 🙏xX

I had the same thing last week , but the spotting stopped when I started taking utrogestan pessaries, lining 14 mm so I did my transfer last Tuesday. Fingers crossed 🤞 for both of us

Thank you for replying. It's reassuring to know that your spotting stopped after starting your progesterone and you've had your transfer. Wishing you lots of luck hun 😊🙏I hope your TWW doesn't drag too much! xXx

It's my third transfer with the last embryo of this first ivf, at that point I just expect the worse and hope for the best

Hi, I was going to post the same question at the weekend. I had a one day bleed after 7 or 8 days of progynova (7 days after stopping buserelin). I was told to continue with meds and had a scan a few days later and my lining was too thin, as expected. They've now increased my dose and told me to continue for another four days. I'm feeling uncertain if I should stop at this stage as they also mentioned a bit of fluid in the uterus. Sorry I don't have any positive info at this stage, another scan on Sunday. I hope things work out for your transfer and that the progesterone sorts things out. X

Thanks for replying hun. I'm sorry to hear your having the same issue. Hopefully the extra dose will work and your scan shows better results on Sunday🙏. I asked if they could see any blood in my uterus on my scan and they said they couldn't so it was more than likely down near my cervix but as it's got a bit more than spotting now, it's got me worrying. Praying the progesterone does the trick. Wishing you all the best for your cycle my lovely 💕xX

Hi Clover, I've just started taking it - and I read the leaflet and it said the most common reaction is spotting - so i'm sure it's fine! I'm sure they'll be testing your levels before the FET so just keeping asking questions if you're worried!

Thanks hun 💕 it stopped on Friday and I had a bit of spotting yesterday but it's stopped again thank god. Fingers crossed it was just a side effect and that's it now xX

Hi Clover, I had the same happen to me but it stopped as soon as I started taking progesterone pessaries. So long as your linning is still thickening and there is no blood in your uterus like you said, then you should be fine. Good luck and hope.it all goes well.
