Rotten cold on transfer

Hi all,

My partner had a double fet yesterday and had a cold starting to break out but today it's full on cold, has anyone experienced this as I'm worried it will affect implantation.

Any advice will be a great help

I had a stinking cold during my 2WW, it started around 3dp5dt and lasted a good week before clearing off. I got a BFP, but unfortunately it's ended in a miscarriage. Hope your cold isn't too unpleasant for you, try some saline nosal spray if you get too clogged up x

I wouldn't worry- a cold won't do anything re: implantstion but plenty of fluids vitamin C (honey ginger and lemon work really well) shall help keep it bay if you don't want to take meds during tww.

My clinic said paracetamol would be fine but nothing with aspirin or ibuprofen

Despite what we think there's very little we can or can't do to help ourselves during tww - but of course you can use the excuse to pamper her more 😊

Hi.. I had exactly the same thing, full on cold broke out day of my transfer! I’ve now had my pregnancy confirmed ☺️

I had a cold with full on fever, coupled with food poisoning. It can sometimes create a perfect storm, especially if there are potential NK Cell problems. Keep your partner well hydrated and rested
