Hello all. Had my first fresh transfer yesterday. Out of 11 eggs, 4 fertilised. The eggs had only divided into 4 cells by day 3 (yesterday) so they did the transfer yesterday. Can’t believe how tired I’ve been today, literally been napping a lot and feeling really cold. I’ve done some research which I shouldn’t have... looks like 4 cell 3 day embryos don’t have much chance. Anyone else experiencing anything similar ? Much love to you all

Fresh embryo transfer yesterday
Hey,
I know it's difficult not to get worried; but they would not have transferred that embryo if they didn't think there would be a chance for success.
We had 14 eggs collected out of which 3 fertilised..One of them is a day 3 embryo and the other 2 made it to blastocyst stage. So I know how it feels having large amount of eggs collected and only few of them fertilised.
Best of luck xxx
Hi,
My situation isn’t exactly the same, but wanted to share with you.. as I too have been researching and it’s the worst thing you can do. (I believe).
I had my first fresh egg transfer on Wednesday. We had 3 fertilised eggs out of 7. On the morning of day 5 transfer we got told that 1 didn’t make it past day 4 and neither of our remaining eggs had made it to a blast.. they were both slow growing, one was a little further on than the other. This now means are chances of conceiving have been reduced even more. So because of this factor and my age, the consultant & embryologist decided that it would be best to transfer both embryos.
I feel the same as you, tired and deflated if I’m honest.. I guess we weren’t expecting that news. Sending you a big hug.. xx
Hi there thank you for sharing! I’ll be thinking of you as your transfer was one day before mine. Big hug to you. Faith, hope and prayers all the way now. One thing I do know is our embryos are where they should be for optimal growth 💕
Just wanted to say don’t give up hope! We’ve had 4 rounds, no blastocysts, slow growing embryos and always had a day 2/3 double embryo transfer with the clinic preparing us for not much chance of success.. first cycle got a bfp but sadly had a mmc just after 8 weeks, and we now have an 8 month old from our 4th cycle. I’ve noticed that a few other ladies on here in similar situations have also ended up pregnant.. at least one with twins! The odds might not be great, but it’s definitely possible and I really believe good to keep positive so don’t write this cycle off just yet. Wishing you a tww as relaxing as it can be and lots of luck 🍀 xx
