2ww and onset of a cold

Hello all,

I had my FET yesterday and now I'm 1dp transfer. I have been having symptoms of a cold 🤦. Just wanted to ask if it is ok to take the cold and flu tablets?

Hi,

On my previous FET I was not feeling very well and I had a fever. Doc said it was safe for me to take tablets of Paracetamol.

Thanks Lucky!! I have no fever but if required will opt for paracetamol 🤗

Try salt water gargle & if you can stomach it a little apple cider vinegar in juice is good too xxx

Thanks Laura, I did gargle with salt water and too paracetamol last night as had some fever! Feeling rubbish this morning I suppose need to let the cold takes its course. I might phone the clinic just for advice!

Treat yourself as if you were pregnant (technically you are PUPO!!!) and only take paracetamol if you can hun. Xxx

I think Vicks First Defence is ok. Pharmacist should be able to advise. Apparently it stops colds before they form.
