Cough after embryo transfer

Hi All, I had my 6th embryo transfer yesterday and this time I’m being treated with an immune protocol including steroids and other drugs. I’ve managed to pick up a cough and it seems worse after the transfer. Has anyone experienced a cough/cold after transfer and had any successes please? I don’t have a fever or other symptoms of infection. Thanks.

Hi Batsford. That’s unfortunate, but shouldn’t affect your transfer. Have you noticed how we squeeze ourselves when we cough, so that can’t be bad. Just add some hot lemon and honey into the mix and maybe a steak inhalation too. Hope all goes well and you feel better soon. Diane

Sorry to hear you're feeling unwell. People say that laughing during 2ww helps implantation so coughing probably is similar in what it does to the tummy muscles. Keep hydrated perhaps have a humidifier at night and just use water in it no chemicals. And see if there is any cough medicine you're ok to take to help ease it. Get well soon

hello lovely, I’m in your situation too. I’m currently in the 2WW and have had a nasty tickly cough since about a week before transfer and I’m coughing a lot. I’m hoping it doesn’t affect things but I can’t stop the cough. My upper back, ribs and and are a little sore as a result. I’m currently just taking hot water with honey and lemon. Wishing you all the best xxx
