It's been a while since I was here. In September, I had a chemical pregnancy and came here for support. We went back to normal life while waiting for IVF (we were due to start in November) and ended up getting pregnant in October. Unfortunately, that pregnancy was my fourth loss and my second ectopic. I am now without any fallopian tubes.
I know IVF is almost meant for women like me and that you don't need fallopian tubes to get pregnant but I'm feeling very broken down about not only the loss of the baby but the chance to ever have a baby naturally again. We worked hard to improve my husband's DNA fragmentation and I guess it worked to get pregnant twice after not being pregnant in over a year and being referred for IVF.
I'm really struggling and it's been painful. I am off work recovering now and should return in over a week.
Does anyone have any success stories?
Thank you.

Hi Sonali, so sorry to hear of your losses. They are heartbreaking and to have your tubes removed as well I know the pain you are feeling.
We have similar history. I could get pregnant naturally but kept losing. I had 2 ectopics that at the time I did not need by tubes removing, but they caused damage and I ended up with hydrosalpinx. I was advised to move onto ivf I would need both tubes removing, of which I was 38 at the time and agreed to it. I have since had several miscarriages with ivf, so they is obviously other issues going on. It gutted me to have my tubes removed but I have now excepted it and hope someday ivf will work for us. Don’t give up hope. Read my previous posts for tests I’ve just had done in Greece to try and find the reason why I keep losing xx
Hi my lovely, it’s a horrible realisation that you won’t conceive naturally but let’s thank the sciences that we can still become pregnant albeit a different way. I had a tube removed and was so depressed, I cried, got anxiety and was so scared I would never have a baby.
However, I’m now 5 months pregnant to ivf....please keep the faith, don’t be depressed and remain positive... good luck xxx
So sorry to read about your loss and tube removal. But don't give up hope, this is why IVF started in the first place to surpass any tubal issues. I myself have a blocked tube due to endometriosis, and the other one is fine but that ovary is not - endo again. How ironic, if at least it was the same side tube and ovary damages I'd have a chance... I have gotten pregnant from that endo ovary but have always ended up in MC. So IVF is my hope and now I am 8 weeks pregnant hoping it will all go well.
Trust your FS as the previous ladies responded, the degree of scientific advancement today is astonishing, I am sure they will be able to help you.
Hope you have a good and quick recovery from the last surgery,
Hey I’m so sorry to hear of your losses ❤️ I hope you can take this time out to recover physically a little bit 🤗 A very good friend of mine had successful IVF after multiple losses and after the removal of her fallopian tubes. 🙏 💪 I believe it can happen 😘 xxx
Hi lovely. I'm so sorry about your losses, it must be so hard to pick yourself up. I haven't experienced that but I did have to have both tubes removed due to hydro. I had surgery in July and am hopefully starting round 1 of ivf in January. It was horrendous finding out my tubes were useless, and it still makes me really sad to think we'll never be able to have a natural conception, but I'm sure once we have a child by whatever means that won't seem important any more. I hope you have a speedy recovery xx
Sorry for your losses, I was in a similar situation couldn’t conceive and found out my tubes were blocked and filled with fluid so had them both removed. I had 3 fresh cycles of ivf all ending in BFN so never had the heartache of a BFP ending in a miscarriage I went on to have a FET that ended in BFP and a ended giving me my son . I hope this gives you some comfort that it can happen. X
