Spotting on CD19

Hope you’re having a good Saturday night!

I’m hoping someone will be able to help me as obviously my clinic is closed for the weekend now & all the information leaflets with my drugs are in Greek! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a hysteroscopy in Athens exactly a month ago, it was all fine & ive had my first period since then, all fine. I’m now on my pre treatment drugs ready for IVF at the end of this month but I’ve just had quite a lot of brown spotting when I wiped?! I never get this! Im worried as timing is everything this month & I really can’t handle the disappointment or expense of it getting cancelled now?!!

Any ideas? Xx

Hi CB. I assume you are down regulating at the moment? If you are it will be due your womb lining thinning prior to starting stimulation injections. If it’s not “smelly” I wouldn’t worry as it happens. If it is, and continues, pop and see your GP In case it is an infection, but I really would try not to worry. Diane

Hi Diane, thank you for your reply! Yes I think I must be - I’m on lots of tablets for 15 days before my next cycle & when I start my injections so it sounds exactly as you say! It’s not smelly at all so that’s good! I am having very slight period type pains but I guess everything changing inside with all this concoction of stuff! X
