Hi you all lovely ladies, im just sharing my story with you. After every month of downreg meds, my uterus lining is still too thick to start the stimulation drugs. So i have been repeated this 3 times already. I had to have a hysterscopy done on the 30th may, to find out whats actually happening. The report was fine and nothing abnormal was found. So i was told i can start the downregging again end of this month(for the fourth time). Just keeping my fingers crossed that i can start the stimulation next month!! Its really getting frustated now, i know it doesnt help but trying to keep cool!!

Thanks :) not long now lol still chasing up paperwork from our nhs clinic got discharged last month going private.Been nearly 3 weeks now. Nurse said notes hadn't been written up yet

Unexplained but I think there's a reason .Drs make me me feel like my infertility isn't viewed as valid by the medical profession :( they say keep trying it'll happen

Have u been given a reason ?

Best of luck in 2 weeks time pm me hope it all well. X x x

How come you are going from nhs to private?? Im on nhs, thats the delay even more, but can i do? I cant afford to go private. Our diagnosis is that my partner has a very low count sperm. So we r waitibg for ivf and icsi. U had my bloods and eveything done last year march april, and was going to start the cycle in september last year, but because of my partners low sperm count, they wanted to freeze 7 samples of semen. By the time that was done , i had my dummy embryo transfer and the scrath in feb 2014, in march i started norethisterone, so that i cud start stims, but could not start stims due to lining being too thick, so really i had repeat downreg meds 3 time. So they did a hysterecscopy on the 30th may, and had to contact them after my second period. Now i have been told to start the downregs again in2 weeks time. So fingers crossed and hop i can hope the stims thia next cycle. It has been ao frustating over the months, this seems forever. My partner will 40 end of thus year and i am 38, we have been together for 8years now, but ttc for 3years now.

Poor u that's a long wait. This whole situation is frustrating and so much waiting around for this that and the other. 3 years is long time we've been trying for 3 years now feels like forever :(

I know it is expensive and I don't think many people can afford it. I'm really lucky our consultant suggested egg sharing to me as a way of getting free/reduced priced ivf. I can't get funding as I've gotta son from an previous relationship it's hard for hubby he's not got any children. But hey ho wot can u do ?!! The nhs won't fund us for assisted conception basically all they recommend for unexplained is ivf . Lister have been great support I'm lucky so happy I'm with lister clinic now. :) l'll do whatever it takes to make my hubby a dad X

Ah u love ur hubby so much!! I respect that alot. I have heard about lister, but i cannot go for that as i am over 35. But good luck with it all huni. I am in islington and camden and islington nhs funds couple without children even if they children from previous relations.so i guess im lucky here

Thank u. My hubby's been really good throughout this whole process if it weren't for him I wouldn't have been strong enough to go to any fertility clinic he was so strong and held it all together for me I'm lucky to have him. I do really love him

think he will make a great dad :)

My county has so strict criteria women between 30 and. 35 yet the nhs has increased the age limit for ivf and no children from either side. Such a post code lottery and u no there's no point in writing a petion if they gave into u they'd have to do the same for everyone . Just luck of the draw really . It should be addressed it's not a fair system . We will have paid taxes and national insurance contributions over time

Glad u get funded that's good :) How Send many chances do they give u? some give u 1 chance some give u 3 arrrr yet they're giving gastric bands on the nhs arrr again madness!!!!

Good luck hunni I hope u get the go ahead for ur ivf those other times must have been so disappointing for u both fingers and toes and everything else crossed X x x

In islington they fund you 2fresh cycles and no frozen cycles and in camden they fund 3 fresh cycles and 2 frozen cycles. Yes its true that its like a postcode lottery. I live in camden but my gp islington. I know its not fair but what can one do?? We all pay good fair enough tax, but when it comes to receiving something back, its very very hard
