My period has just ended so back to tracking my LH surge soon enough and I estimate my natural FET should be the start of next month.
I asked for a scan and was told it was not needed as my progesterone was so good in trial round. They did offer another trial round but that would only be checking blood again. I feel like I can do that at my GP anyway, right? That is who did it last time so I am thinking I may just book in and get the results myself. I have been told unless anything drastic has happened the levels should not be too different, but I just think I want to see it for myself....
Or does anyone know of clinics that will do a lining check for me, just to set my mind at rest? My clinic won't do it for a natural protocol and I really don't want to be medicated again.
I had my lining checked privately with a company....I'll PM you in case I get into trouble for advertising. However I discovered for my last transfer that my NHS clinic do lining checks for a small cost to that might be worth checking out. Hope you get it sorted!xx
Thank you that would be great if you could. I was willing to pay my clinic for a scan. but they seem to be dead set against it for some reason. Perhaps I am over thinking/worrying but I just feel it would put me at more ease for round 2. xx
They do sound confident that you dont need a scan but if you need reassurance on your lining for thickness etc then give it a go! Its hard not to worry in all of this!xx
Hi MyIVFHart. I would try and trust what your clinic advises, but if you really want the scan done, maybe your GP could arrange for you to have one at a small charge, see how you feel about that. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and I really hope all goes well with the FET next month. Diane
Thank you, I think I am just uneasy after my failed FET and after so many months of waiting to get to transfer. This process certainly has you on edge, that is for sure xx

Hi. I'm sure you are. It's never easy at the best of times, so fingers crossed with whatever you decide. Diane
