Hey everyone,
Iβve been pretty quiet on here since our BFN at the beginning of August. π. As most of you will know, going through this is more than devastating.
But due to this very sad result It made me determined to try and take a bit of control back and try to boost our own chances outside of IVF. Therefore I set to work on researching for hours on end about what we could do as a couple to a) improve egg quality and b) improve my partners sperm count and quality as he was diagnosed Oligospermic!
So in the last 2 months we have cut out caffeine, drank zero alcohol, maintained 2 litres of water a day, avoided processed food, maintained our exercise and my partner has taken the following supplements :
300mg Ubiquinol
100mg Zinc
2000mg vitamin c
Multi vitamin for men
As a result of this, here we are 2 months later and his latest results show he is no longer Oligospermic, he just seems to have a slightly lower than norm level motility! We are blown away by the improvement! And all because we did our own research and changed our lifestyle ourselves! This information should have been provided to us years ago from the medical professionals!
So I thought I would write the good news story I was searching so hard to find a few months back! You really can change the Sperm count and quality yourselves.
We will continue to do what we have been doing and hereβs hoping we actually get a chance naturally before attempting our second IVF cycle!
